BRITISH Values: |
Our School Values |
"All maintained schools must meet the requirements set out in section 78 of the Education Act 2002 and promote the spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development of their pupils. Through ensuring pupils’ SMSC development, schools can also demonstrate they are actively promoting fundamental British values". In accordance with the Department for Education, we aim to actively promote British Values in our school to ensure young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain. We achieve this through our school values, broad and balanced curriculum and enrichment activities and community involvement, which promote the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils in the school and of society and by promoting and reinforcing the fundamental British values. |
